This squared LED garage lighting has an outer and inner square that can be wired together on the same switch or can be wired on different switches to be able to turn on and off each rectangle independently. You do not have to arrange them as an inner and outer rectangle as each rectangle is essentially its own light. So you can separate the rectangles and put them in different locations if you choose. Each light set comes with 1 outer rectangle and 1 inner rectangle. 

These light can be screwed directly to your ceiling for easy installation. If you want to have them dropped from the ceiling, you will need to have a frame to attach the lights to and have the frame lowered from othe ceiling. The lights are hardwired to your switched power in your home our business.
