Order Cancellation
You can cancel an order within 30 minutes of placing your order without a cancellation fee. You must contact us within 30 minutes of placing your order. If an item has shipped, it cannot be canceled. Custom orders can NOT be canceled, returned or exchanged. Any non-custom order that is canceled after the 30 minute time period elapsed is subject to a 25% cancellation fee for each item that is canceled. Orders are processed in our system within 30 minutes of ordering.

Back orders can be cancelled without penalty unless they have shipped.

Estimated Shipping Time Frames
We use business days, any day not a weekend or holiday, as a time frame. We ship most products by UPS ground and Fedex ground.

We will notify if there is a back order on the product by e-mail. For most orders we provide a tracking number which can be used to track the progress of your shipment by clicking on the link in the order status e-mail. We verify all estimated shipping time frames with confirming e-mails to you.

Shipping Time Frame: The number of business days from the time you place your order to the time the product ships. If you have any questions in regards to the shipping time of a product please email sales@carguygarage.com or call 800-736-9308 If you order multiple items, some items ship faster than others and you will receive status by email on each item.

Additional charges will be added for freight services if one of the below apply:

  • You live on an island with access or limited access via bridges.
  • You live in a remote location within the US. (A remote area is an area that extends 50 to 75 miles past a Major Airport City. Examples of Major Airport Cities are, Newark NJ, Salt Lake City, UT, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL. The presence of an Airport within 50 to 75 miles of a City, does not constitute it being a Major Airport City.)
  • You live outside of our local delivery area.
  • You want a specific delivery time or a delivery on a weekend.
  • If you do not arrange a drop off time with the freight company, the freight company will charge storage fees.
  • If you miss an appointment with the freight company, the freight company will charge a re-delivery fee.

Shipping Outside the Continental U.S. 48 states, International Orders
We do not currently ship outside the U.S.

Payment and Charges
Payments for all orders must be received in full before any order will be processed. Custom orders are non-refundable after the order has been processed. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Please note that your credit card statement will read Car Guy Garage, Inc. If you enter an address for the "Ship to" addess that is different from the "Bill to" address, your credit card company may require that the "Ship to" address be on file with the credit card issuing bank. The charge may be declined if the differing "Ship to" address is not on file. You will need to contact your credit card company to put on file the alternate address and try to place the order again. 

Safe Delivery
Purchases made at Car Guy Garage, Inc. should arrive in perfect condition. Please open and inspect merchandise immediately before signing the shipping release contract. When products leave our warehouses they are shipped without damage or defects, but sometimes the shipping companies have accidents in getting the products to your door. You must inspect all packages before you sign the contract releasing the shipping company from all responsibility. Items are priced and shipped carrying full insurance. In the event that an item is not in good condition, email us, at sales@carguygarage.com for replacement or repair information. You must notify us within 7 days if a product is damaged, defective or has missing parts. After 7 days we are not responsible for defective or damaged products. We require proof of damage so we can process a damage claim with the shipping company in the form of digital photographs emailed to sales@carguygarage.com

Our Return Policy

Email your request for a return authorization to sales@carguygarage.com. Requests must be made within 7 days of delivery of item. Some exceptions apply. Not all items that we sell can be returned. The product description will specify if the item cannot be returned. Custom orders can not be returned. Do not ship anything back to us before contacting us first.

For items which are shipped US mail, Fedex ground or UPS ground, please send an email to sales@carguygarage.com with a description of the problem and include a photo of the issue. Each situation is different and will be evaluated at the time we are notified of the issue. For items which are shipped via truck freight, please reference our LTL Truck Freight Deliveries page for more information. All defective returns are for an exchange only. For defective returns, we will issue a return authorization upon your satisfactory explanation of defect and in some cases we will need the defective item returned back to the warehouse.


For non defective returns, products must be factory sealed, unopened. We will not issue a return authorization for opened merchandise for non defective products. Refunds for non defective items that are unopened will be given after the item has been shipped back to us, received at the warehouse and verification that the product is still factory sealed. Unopened returns on items are subject to a restocking fee of 25% plus the actual shipping cost to get the product to you. Please note that there is a shipping cost to ship the item to you even though the shipping cost is not listed as a separate cost during the check out process. In the case of a return, you will be responsible for the full amount of the actual shipping cost we paid to get the product to you. We will provide you with the actual shipping cost in these cases.


You are responsible for shipping the product back to us. For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS insured for return shipment. Please insure the order for the full amount of your purchase. Please check with us on the proper address to return merchandise. Do not return merchandise to our mailing address, as this is not the manufacturing facility or warehouse. You must provide us with a tracking number for a proof of shipment for all returns.


No returns on customized items. All refused shipments will be assessed an automatic 25% restock fee plus shipping costs.
